Insurtech on the Silicon Prairie is a two-day in-person insurtech event bringing national experts, companies, and regulators to Omaha for a one-of-a-kind conference focused on the rapidly changing insurance landscape and technology. Our 2023 conference set new records with over 420+ attendees from 44 states, the UK, Canada and Japan, and we hope this year’s edition is even bigger and better.
Speakers and panelists have covered a range of insurtech and innovation topics and perspectives including AI, regulatory modernization, Big Data, insurance company innovation, insurtech trends, startups, use of insurtech to improve operations, wearables, IoT, embedded insurance, microinsurance and insurtech investing. Insurtech on the Silicon Prairie is organized by the Nebraska Department of Insurance and the Nebraska Insurance Federation. We believe in fostering a better understanding in the rapidly changing world of insurtech and are happy to host these events. As one of the leading insurance hubs in the United States and the world, Nebraska is home to approximately 110 domestic insurers with nearly $1 trillion in total assets. The Nebraska domestic insurance industry is a national leader in most financial categories including the aforementioned assets, written premium, and leads the nation in total capital and surplus.
